Experienced Dispatch Rider Needed in Ikeja
Job Description
Meritabode Nigeria Limited is hiring an experienced and dependable Dispatch Rider to support its daily delivery operations in Lagos. The successful candidate will be responsible for collecting and delivering documents, parcels, and other assigned items safely and within the required time.
The rider must communicate professionally with customers, confirm delivery information before setting out, and provide timely updates regarding completed or delayed deliveries.
Responsibilities
* Pick up and deliver parcels, documents, and other assigned items.
* Confirm customers’ names, addresses, and delivery instructions.
* Keep customers informed about delivery progress.
* Ensure all items are delivered safely and in good condition.
* Plan efficient routes to avoid unnecessary delays.
* Maintain proper records of collections and completed deliveries.
* Keep the assigned motorcycle clean and in good working condition.
* Report mechanical faults, delivery problems, or accidents immediately.
* Follow traffic regulations and company safety procedures.
* Perform other delivery-related duties assigned by management.
Requirements
* OND qualification.
* 3–5 years of dispatch riding experience.
* Valid rider’s licence.
* Strong knowledge of Lagos roads, especially Ikeja and surrounding areas.
* Ability to use Google Maps and other navigation applications.
* Good communication and customer service skills.
* Must be responsible, punctual, honest, and physically fit.
* Ability to work independently and complete deliveries on schedule.
